East Bay Living in Gig Harbor

The East side of Wollochet Bay—often called East Bay—is one of Gig Harbor’s most coveted waterfront neighborhoods. Here you’ll find some of the area’s finest waterfront properties, along with quick access to Highway 16, the Uptown retail district, and charming Downtown Gig Harbor.

Why East Bay?

East Bay Drive has long been known as a rare blend of natural beauty and convenience. Homeowners enjoy a peaceful getaway surrounded by forested roads, yet they’re only minutes from shopping, dining, and daily amenities. Many homes feature sweeping views of Wollochet Bay, private docks, or beach access, making this one of the most desirable places to live in Gig Harbor.

A Neighborhood with Character

As one of the more established neighborhoods outside of historic downtown and Point Fosdick, East Bay maintains its timeless charm. While residential development has grown, the area still offers quiet stretches of nature, and even tucked-away farm properties that add to its unique character.

Living in East Bay means:

  • Waterfront homes with incredible bay views

  • Minutes to Uptown Gig Harbor and Highway 16

  • Established neighborhood with a strong sense of community

  • A balance of privacy, nature, and convenience
