Outdoor Activities | Wollochet Bay

From the name alone, it’s clear that the biggest activities and attractions here have to do with the water. This is a great place for fishing, water-skiing and general boating activities.

Most of Wollochet Bay can be accessed by larger motorized boats, but the innermost part gets very narrow and can be shallow in places so speeds are reduced and the bay ends with a protected tidal zone that is now an estuary park.

Aside from Water activities, there is also the Artondale Golf Course, less than a mile away. The Golf course has classes and a club house, golf shop and rental venue for events.

Currently there is little public access to Wollochet Bay except for residents. There is one public boat launch in the Pt. Fosdick area that accesses the Bay but has little parking.

The Peninsula Metropolitan Park District is looking to expand the protected Estuary park in the inner tide flats to create a larger park to enhance the water access and recreation needs for the District including non-motorized boat access and wildlife viewing opportunities.
