We met Darren through a referral program. At first, we were hesitant since we sold our house with another popular online real estate firm. If we sold AND bought with them, we would get a percentage back in the form of a “rebate.” Our experience with that company was good, so we didn’t really want to stray. After speaking to Darren a couple times, prior to meeting in person, we decided to go with him. Darren was very knowledgeable with the area that we were looking to buy. Not only did he have an answer to every question we had, but he was also very quick to respond to our texts and calls. I often wonder if he just sits his in office and hits “refresh” on the MLS portal. There was a certain level of trust that I had with him that I usually don’t have with someone that I just met. I never felt any pressure or rush with Darren; and that was very refreshing. We put an offer in for the first house we toured. When the inspection report came back from our house, we were a little stunned at how much work it needed (the inspector is someone that Darren recommended, as well). But Darren quickly went to work. Darren is a total advocate for his clients. He will go to bat for you, without hesitation. Not only did we get every issue fixed from inspection, but we also got the house under asking price. I believe that none of this could have happened if we didn’t meet Darren. I would recommend Darren to anyone, and I have been and will continue to.
